Thai Summit Group Annual Conference and Cowboy Night

Last week was a tension and happy weekend for me.Attending whole day conference of Saturday 22, 2011 consider the last year for us to attending Thai Summit Group Conference since by coming 2nd quarter this year , the joint venture cooperation share is changing.Next , my company will be own by american called Lear Corporation major share holder and bye..bye to khun thai for past ten marvelous years.There were almost 450 participant attending the conference sharing their experience managing the company.At the moment Thai Summit Group having oversea operation in Malaysia,Vietnam, India, Indonesia, China and in Michigan , America is having Ogihara as one of the biggest  die maker.Salute to Mr Thanatorn and the team conquoering the world and entreprenuor from Malaysia should benchmarking his success story to build the Thai Summit Group.Based on the overall performance review revealed on that day, the revenue is increasing and breaking the record  as Bath 48 thousand million at year 2010 accumulated for the group.Wow..fantastic and they are grow and growing to capture the world.
Almost 15 speakers present their experience managing the company inclusive the special guest from their banking expert to talk about economic outlook for future , the automotive trend in thailand and the world , japanese counterpart talk about the technology cooperation between thai and japan similar like 'look east policy' and special talk from Hitachi Co Ltd on High Performance Organisation (HPO) experience.The most interesting topic and factor bring Hitachi till current level is managing their human capital thru "Happy Workplace" .Thec culture happy workplace become one Hitachi mission and DNA by introducing the happy soul,happy family,happy money,happy society,happy talk, happy,and  so on and there create the  workplace environment attractive and conducive and the call this as H2O - Hitachi Happy Organisation.
And now Thai Summit Group adopt this idea with immediate effect to their roadmap for human capital development on sustaining the resources....yeah good idea and good presentation from Hitachi speaker.The rest of speaker is also informative but mostly speak in thai languange and lucky get facility of translator gadget and it help a lot to undertand..sawasdeekap..khap khun kap.Conference finished late almost 1.5 hours at 6p.m and then at night have new year party dinner with theme cowboy night....hu hu ...happy ending but no luck on lucky draw got zero...ha ha..bye bye Bangkok..khap khun kap

Top 10 Emerging Technologies

Do we looking forward to be business owner or entrepreneur once complete our MBA or still give 100% commitment to 9-5 working hour style??..or want to become Professor...I am questioning myself actually.Our prophet Muhammad S.A.W said 9/10 of our wealth come from enterpreneurship effort.In reality in our country now ,muslim is not an active business minded and business owner.Everything is depend on "gomen" big cable and political link..is it true?? Lu fikirlah sendiri..kata Nabil Raja Lawak.Then the question is if we want to be business owner , what kind of business suit to us and what is the oppurtunity available sourrounding us..think..think. I am now at Faculty of Business Management. Then , it should make sense to have own business in the future.Answer may be  is simple: is the technology likely to change the world?..then grab the chance.. found some info from Technology Review website...some of these emerging technology would create business oppurtunity as an example  on the largest scale possible: better biofuels, more efficient solar cells, and green concrete all aim at tackling global warming in the years ahead. Others emerging technology is related to IT involve how we use technology: for example, 3-D screens on mobile devices, new applications for cloud computing, and social television.Others are new ways to implant medical electronics and develop drugs for diseases .These is interesting business oppurtunity to looking on with vision and mission to be business owner.

UiTM Library

Wow..last sunday is my 1st time experience to use UiTM library after almost a year there for my MBA.Just because of ABR subject is coming..hu hu..i'm quiet impressed with current technology whereby i don't need go to counter to borrow the book.My 1st book borrow  with title E-commerce and ERP manegement.So easy way to borrow with IT development so far.Environment also so good and quiet with just a few people there..ya la.. sunday.One month duration for master student and can re-new on-line...that's excellent

One more thing is to learn about some research paper archive can be found digitally in library uitm website...under Irepository folder..soo easy.but this only for  limited pages only.If want unlimited pages need to see librarion and now almost research paper is digitallize .

Then , there were training session in IT room on IGS Research Skill with is open to all student but I believed most of the student dont know about that.So, in future we need to add in UiTM facebook la for up-date and all activity and here are the address...

Overall, i rated UiTM library 5/5 star rating...knowledge is POWER
